I'm a slow learner but what a great tool. I'm actually using the language now, not fluently but the more you read, write, look at it, speak it, the easier it becomes.I think my biggest problem with this book is it's a little hard to put down. Everything is so easy to understand, it's the remembering it all that becomes a challenge for me personally, but repetition is the cure for that

Read Hebrew in Just 90 Minutes! edition by Chaim Conway Reference eBooks Reviews
Will try to get my money back. So many issues with this "book" ... not worth the headache to go over them. Suggest a total rewrite/reedit.
The information in the book is fine, but the format is not good, which particularly hurts a book heavily dependent on page formatting. I feel it is much more geared to the potential traveler than to any academic study of Hebrew.
General thoughts
1. Handwritten Hebrew looks NOTHING LIKE printed Hebrew, and there is no discussion of that. We get, like, one single letter (lamed) and no further discussion.
2. We can find all 22 letters + the nikud anywhere. Wikipedia or any other free site.
3. There was some discussion of grammar, but that is useless without our having a reason to use it. So, that could be saved for a book on Hebrew conversation.
It's only a few bucks, and so it's not so high as to be prohibitively expensive. But if you wanted to learn how to write cursive Hebrew, you could get that much experience taking some newspaper article or website written in printed Hebrew and transcribing it over into cursive over an afternoon or two-- for free.
Ok you might read this short book in only 90 minutes. First of all I take issue with learning all this material in only 90 minutes; frankly this subject required more time to learn. You will be able to read Hebrew but you won't understand it yet.
The book however does a great job introducing the Aleph bet, vowels, and basic grammar rules in a very simple and clear manner. It teaches some first words without overwhelming you with too much information.
Complimenting this book, if allowed, let me mention another basic Hebrew primer called Living Israeli Hebrew by Dr. Danny Ben-Gigi. Together your first journey into Hebrew will be fun and quickly acquired.
this book contains much material that is found with moderate internet searches. It does have a blend of other authors works and some internet material that is placed into a short paper. It does contain the basics and is worthy of reference material that saves you time from searching so I give it a three.
It also uses the written form of text that you will not see in any scripts you will study from, however, is still informative when studying history of this form...
Overall a decent study book for those learning the Alephbet and vowel use along with basic grammar.
Very good on explaining Hebrew and how to learn it. The only problem I have with it is a very minor one. The Hebrew letters are too small.
Well, this did only take about 90 minutes to read but I did not really learn much Hebrew. I did however get a good start at understanding how Hebrew thinking is oriented so I am getting far more from text written by Hebrew professors than I was before reading this book. I do suggest you post detail as to what devises it is formatted for as the charts are really hard to see if you are not using an Android devise. It was easy to read with my G2 but I could not with my old .
I'm a slow learner but what a great tool. I'm actually using the language now, not fluently but the more you read, write, look at it, speak it, the easier it becomes.
I think my biggest problem with this book is it's a little hard to put down. Everything is so easy to understand, it's the remembering it all that becomes a challenge for me personally, but repetition is the cure for that
